Job Description

• Assist in the documentation of user requirements, project discussions and meetings and translating the information gathered into formal documents.
• Assist in planning, development and execution of test cases.
• Able to work closely with the technical team and the project team in terms of requirements clarification, defect tracking and resolution.
• Responsible and proactive to take ownership of project tasks across all the functional areas.
• Translate the requirements into requirement specification and then functional specifications.
• Create, test & maintain automated test scripts and data.
• To manage clients/vendors/partners and ensure the system delivery meets the project objectives and the business objectives.
• Assist in carrying out research and information seeking to define templates and procedures for project documentation standardization.
• Able to do presentation and carry out some simple web development.

Skills Required

• Minimally a diploma holder in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Preferably have prior exposure in participating in CMMI-related activities.
• Able to communicate with people at all levels and possess good team spirit.
• Possess positive outlook on things and able to manage time well.
• Proficient in using automated testing pool and test methodology i.e. SilkTest, SilkPerformer, OpenSTA, etc.
• Proficient in using automated test tools such as Klocwork, Nessus, Internet Scanner, etc.
• Proficient in MS Office applications especially MS Word and Excel.
• Had prior experiences working as different capacities in a large scale IT projects and have gone through the full SDLC for at least one project.
• Had exposures working in projects implementing solutions for the banking and finance industry.
• Possess the interest or aptitude or experience in software testing for software applications.
• Independent, sharp-minded, meticulous, creative hardworking and pro-active.
• Possess good work attitude and good sense of responsibility towards tasks assigned to you.
• Preferably able to commence work immediately or at short notice.
